About The SensAtion Gallery
SensAtion Gallery, presented by MSWA, was Perth’s pioneering multi-sensory playground. By bringing together artists from across WA we produced a unique experience for people of all ages and abilities. Following the 2019/2020 season’s sell-out success we are already planning our next adventure!
How it all started
How do our senses interact with the brain? How important are our senses and what happens if they are reduced or lost? How do people with a neurological condition see, feel, smell, hear and understand the world?
The team at MSWA took on the challenge to help us understand the answers to these questions, in the most immersive and enjoyable way possible!
They approached some dynamic local Perth artists, influencers and collaborators, including popular YouTube vloggers Kim Behets and Ana Cadence, chef and former MKR contestant Jordan Bruno and major influencers Zak Hasleby and Jamey-Lee Franz, to create a one-of-a-kind installation in the City of Perth – The SensAtion Gallery.
Sensation comes to life
After months of planning, visualising, building and tinkering, our talented group of creatives managed to produce a fun and visually stunning art installation – and a series of fascinating insights into how we interpret the world around us through each of our senses.
We had jungle smells, flashing lights, snow, inflatable duckies and well… check out our Instagram feed to get a ‘sense’ of what else was on offer!

MSWA (formerly The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia) was founded nearly 45 years ago by a group of people with MS committed to helping others access information and support.
Today the organisation supports people living with MS and all neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and acquired Brain Injury, right across the metro area and regional centres of WA.
